Escaping Darkness

Hello and welcome to my blog.

I created this blog to raise awareness of the challenges that many women and men face when they are trying to escape darkness. By saying escaping darkness what I mean is getting away from an abusive relationship.  I made many errors along the way when seeking help and I do not wish this type of injustice on anyone. I hope that the information I have shared about my experiences and the advice I was given proves to be resourceful for many people.  I look forward to raising awareness on this issue as the agencies who claim to protect us do nothing but judge us before any investigations even take place unless the abuse is life threatening, then they have no choice.
